An ICT Network Architect is a senior technical professional responsible for designing, planning, and implementing complex computer networks that form the backbone of modern organizations. This role goes beyond basic network administration; it involves strategic architecture decisions that ensure network performance, security, scalability, and alignment with business goals. The architect evaluates current network infrastructure, identifies future requirements, and creates blueprints for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), cloud networks, and internet systems. They work closely with IT leadership, security teams, and operations to design solutions that support critical applications, data flows, and user connectivity.
